I tried kicking them out of the house with: "It's a beautiful day -- go draw with chalk, or play on the trampoline, or climb trees, or SOMETHING!!" They'd come in 5 minutes later all lethargic and sweaty asking to play the Wii. Now it is gloomy and rainy. Yep, this summer I feel like a failure at providing good summer memories for my children. I fear when they look back at summer, they will remember boredom, packed boxes all around the house, a tired preggo momma, and too many chicken nugget meals. I love the idea of the framed job lists. My children have also gotten lazy and completely unstructured this summer...time to crack down and reintroduce some responsibilities.

By the way, your captchas are so difficult! lolKatiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15694078926573075655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5743228979051687756.post-24544396813349612092012-07-12T21:34:55.516-05:002012-07-12T21:34:55.516-05:00If you live near me, then I've done adoption f...If you live near me, then I've done adoption fundraisers with photography for the past few years. I offer it to one family a year, in September for Holiday cards. Typically I end up with a family adopting from China, but would love to help out if you do live where I think you live. ;)Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12374681883837177109noreply@blogger.com
