first dance recital

anna had dress rehearsal yesterday and recital today. she did great! john and i were very proud of her and she beamed when the boys brought her flowers! here are a few pics that capture the recital in all its glory:




i wanted to write down a couple of funny things that have been said or done in the past couple days before i forget.

~ben laughs every time i blow off his food to cool it down before i give it to him.

~when anna asked who was coming to see her dance, i told her i just wasn't sure and she told me "probably the whole country right?"

~josh asked john tonight, "how did those big girls hold their legs up so high like that?" and then proceeded to try and lift his leg straight in the air, next to his head. we laughed like crazy.

sometimes, it just feels good to be with these silly little people. i wouldn't trade it for anything.
