tennessee aquarium

monday we went to chattanooga, tennessee, to the aquarium.
anna was excited. she loves animals but most of all, she loves ocean animals.
i'm surprised she even slept one wink the night before because she was so excited to go.

the kids were C-R-A-Z-Y happy. in a curious, excited, like they've never been anywhere ever before kinda way.

and i have to admit, i know why they were acting like that.
seeing super cool animals make me a little crazy happy too.

john and i were picture-takin-fools.
but it was so dark in most of it so they didn't turn out that great.
so here's a gazillion mediocre pictures of my family and lots of little critters for your viewing pleasure.
and when i say a gazillion, i mean a gazillion.

ben went GAGA over the big fish tank.
he sat and watched and chattered all while watching intently.
the children were all mesmerized by all the fish and sea creatures.
it was one of those precious moments of my life.
that probably sounds so corny, but it really was.

the aquarium and surrounding areas are so nice.
we easily could have stayed for a few more days, but we had to rush back home in time for josh's baseball playoff game.
which they lost.
season over.
(shhhh...yipee!)
