pop rocks

my parents flew in this morning and we went to cracker barrel for breakfast. because my kids never have candy (are you buying this??), i had to browse the cool selection of old timey candy. i decided to get them ring pops (anna's fave) and pop rocks. do you remember pop rocks? so after supper, we pulled out the special treats. josh was so surprised and intrigued by the pop rocks. you should have seen his face when they started cracklin and poppin.





john kept eyeing 'em up and finally had to dive in too.



anna kept to the ring pops and was happy with that.



and ben just kept a close eye on everything and "smiled" for the camera.


it's going to be a fun weekend!
