little steps

ben was busy playing with a bin full of balls. he would sit and throw them, talk to them, inch towards one that rolled away. he was occupied and happy.

a few minutes later, anna noticed ben doing something special. he had one ball in his hand that had a loop and string inside of it. and he wasn't just throwing this ball, he was pulling the string out with one hand and pulling the ball in the opposite direction in the other hand.

seems simple enough right? but no, this is something that his occupational therapist has been trying to get him to do for weeks now. we all gathered around to see his new trick. anna said i should "take a picture to show his therapist!", so we did!



yipee! another goal to check off! good boy ben.
