back to real life

we drove back from the gulf late friday.


sad to leave, but happy to be back.
we missed our beds and our doggies.


this weekend was busy and relaxing at the same time.
i planted the garden and cleaned up the back yard and deck.
john worked outside too, mowing and trying to kill ants.
ahh, the joys of summer.
ben enjoyed being outside and especially enjoyed his new sand/water table he got for his bday.



it quickly became the MUD table. no more sand or water.

i have tons of beach pics to share this week.
i'm talking hundreds! it'll be hard to narrow it down for the blog.
but for now, i have to sleep.
my sunburned shoulders are aching and my eyes are getting squinty.
