cute stuff for christmas

with christmas only 6 weeks away (EEK!), i figured i'd do a post on some neat stuff i've found recently.
why not try a few of these ideas for something a little different this year?

check out this etsy shop, krakracraft!
i bought this sweet doll for a friend's baby girl.

anna is finding it very, very hard to give her a new home!
lucky for her, the seller, maja, also sent along a little stuffed bird for anna to play with!

most of you know i love etsy
look over there ---------------------------------------->
(in the right side bar for more neat stuff.)

my favorite artist on etsy is cathy nichols.
i have a few of her prints and now this calendar.

the quality is top-notch. i can't wait until january to hang it up.
buy something from her today. don't wait.

we love the dvds of the show word world (on pbs).

they are perfect for kids learning to read and practicing sight words.
also very entertaining for little and bigger kids too.
and they are only $6.99!
this holiday one is 100% jupin family approved.

we have been reading this book of bible stories for the past few months.

the pictures are wonderful and it's written for small children to understand.
if you're in the market for a Good Book to share the Good News, try this one!

i am in love with my new pioneer woman cookbook.

even if you've never, ever checked out her website, it's still awesome.
but i have to admit, if you haven't checked out her blog, you better make a pot of coffee, clear your calendar for the day, grab your laptop, and just hit it.
she's so inspiring.
and her cooking.
oh her cooking!!!
i bought two--one for a friend and one for me!

if you are looking for something a little personalized and unique, go to lisa leonard jewelry.
i have bought nana several things from her and john has bought me several pieces too.
i always get compliments and can't recommend her stuff enough.

i'm hoping santa will bring me these earrings for christmas!
p.s. use the code ‘ourwindow15′ for 15% off during the month of November! (thanks to darby's blog!)

one last one...check out this blog, clover lane, for more great toy ideas.
sarah is a mom of five. she knows what she's talking about.
when she says something works, i listen.
i think our family will be getting a few of these (zingo and rush hour) for christmas this year!

i guess that's it for now.
that's quite enough huh?
only six weeks. have fun shopping!
