real quick

here are the recipes from yesterday's post.
thanks for asking!
super simple, super easy.

for the marshmallows:

melt some chocolate chips in the microwave in a bowl.
the chocolate chips i used had melting instructions on the package.
i think it was on medium heat for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. stir until completely melted.
then, just dip the marshmallows in and set on a piece of wax paper to set.
sprinkle with jimmies or other christmas sprinkles.
after the chocolate is set, wrap in a baggie with cocoa packets and tie up with some ribbon and a candy cane.
(i'm pretty sure i stole this idea from somewhere or received it last year, but it's perfect for kids!)

for the pretzels:

lay out square pretzels on a tray.
put a hershey kiss on each pretzel.
place in a 250 degree oven for about five minutes.
the chocolate will not look melted, but will be shiny.
take them out of the oven and immediately place a m-and-m on each one, pushing down slightly to flatten.
allow to cool for a LONG time (over night is best), until chocolate is set.
you could also do this with the caramel kisses and put a pecan on top.
or use the hugs (instead of kisses) and top with a peanut m-and-m.
the combos are a plenty.

HAVE FUN!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
