alphabet crayons

we had such a cold and dreary day saturday, we were all stir crazy.
anna played with barbies for a while,

and her littlest pet shops too,

ben played with his cars and trucks,

and josh played the wii.

but you can only play for so long before boredom sets in.
so i decided to pull out some crayons and the silicon alphabet/number trays john got me for christmas last year.

i tore the labels off the crayons and the kids broke them up into little pieces.
one by one we filled each letter and number.

then we put them on a tray, in a 250 degree oven for about 15 minutes and let them cool.

now we have letter and number crayons! so much more exciting, eh?
we LOVE them!!

now don't go thinking i'm all crafty and stuff.
i stole the idea from meg. of course.

speaking of meg, she's selling some awesome stuff in her etsy shop now to raise money for a mission trip to africa. you may be able to request custom stuff too, so take a look at her recent sales and ask her to make you a pillow or tee shirt if you don't see what you want.

i bought this shirt for ben.

his third birthday is coming up next month and i think it will be PERFECT!
