so many times i've heard people describe folks with down syndrome as "always happy."
and for the most part, i think i would have to agree with them.
but my experience with my ben boy is that is he as multi-faceted as they come.
he is most definitely happy but also has had his fair share of unhappy times.
case in point, here is a little temper tantrum i had the pleasure of enjoying the other night.
it was SPECTACULAR.
"what do you mean i can't have another popsicle?"
"don't you dare take another picture of me while i'm crying!"
"are you not paying attention to me??!"
"see how mad i am!"
"yes i know i need a haircut. let's not discuss that now!"
"ok, take a few pics of my cutey pie legs. the blog ladies would like that."

Someone on RR said yesterday "I think the stubbornness gene is located on the 21st chromosome. and kids with DS have THREE of them!" haha
Claire is generally pretty happy too, but she can also throw a doozie of a fit!
First of all, I don't know who Molly is, but that is a HYSTERICAL quote. Second of all, I am totally copying this post and doing one of my own the next time Ella has a fit. Which I suspect, may be tomorrow. ;)
