halloween banner.

i'm addicted to banners, pennants, garlands.
i want to hang them everywhere.
john doesn't get it.
:)

last year (or was it two years ago now?) i made this quick and easy banner to hang in our kitchen.
totally stole the idea from brilliant sarah.

i printed out picture of the kiddos in their halloween costumes over the years and attached them to a long piece of twine with some mini clothespins.
you could add some leaves or twigs or bittersweet (oh if only i had some!) or acorns etc. to embellish it a little.

right now it's hanging above our windows next to the kitchen table.
the kids like to remember their costumes and giggle at themselves ("look how little i was, mom!").
such an easy and quick little project that makes me smile every time i look at it.
i wonder if josh would let me dress him like a sweet little lamb again?
sha.
right.
as if.

Oh, I am addicted too! And I asked the flower lady at Hobby Lobby if she had any bittersweet and she had never heard of it, evah! What?!?! Oh bittersweet, why do you elude us so? :) Great banner, friend... Mine is batty...sorta like me. :)

Totally unique and creative! Now I have all the excuse to print my daughters' pictures and display them for all trick or treaters to see!
