oh my sweet boy.

today i was blessed big time.
i have to tell you that God is working hard to keep me focused,
to remind me of exactly what His plan is for me.

just when i start to waiver, to lose my way, to begin to complain again...

He led me to a website i haven't looked at in months.
and there, i found these updated pictures of my sweet boy!

i am crying yet again.
oh how i needed to see him again.
he's growing.
he is much bigger than the last photos.
he has teeth!
and chubby legs!
(i'm sure the chubbiness is relative, but he does look healthier!)
he has spunk!
i can see it!

yes, Lord, i am listening.
i feel so blessed that you would choose me.
thank you for being patient with me.
i will get my head out of my behind and trust you fully.
you know this is something i struggle with but i am working on it...

tonight i also read about katie davis' book, kisses from katie, here today.
it is now in my amazon shopping cart.

My family, adopting these children, it is not optional. It is not my good deed for the day; it is not what I am doing to 'help out these poor kids.' I adopt because God commands me to care for the orphans and the widows in their distress. I adopt because Jesus says that to whom much has been given, much will be demanded (see Luke 12:48)...
-Kisses from Katie

maybe you need to read it too.
i have a good feeling about it.
