monday.

friday we had more terrible storms here.
we spent most of the evening glued to the tv, monitoring the tornados that popped up all around us.
we were fine but there are many close by that were not.
i hate tornados.
praying for those who lost their homes and personal belongings.
so many sad stories.
thank you to all of you that called and emailed to check up on us!

saturday morning anna and i head out early.
we had a list of places to go and things to buy.
pansies, top soil, spray paint, scrapbook paper, stickers, glue.

we came home and i got anna started making necklaces.
she wants to sell them and earn money for davis.
sweetest thing ever.
we are trying out several different ideas and hopefully we'll get a few in the etsy shop soon.
please let me know if you are interested...i bet anna will be thrilled!

i finally put some pansies in the empty sad pots by my front door and brought out a bit of spring out there too.
winter is over, in my mind anyways, and it's time to bring on the happy bunnies and flowers!

yesterday was busy busy.
sunday school, softball practice, my fair lady, and the lorax.
and to top it all off, ben came down with something and slept for 14 hours straight!
he fell asleep on the couch, snuggled up on poppy, and stayed asleep for the rest of the night.
this morning he is still fevered but is eating and drinking some so that's a good sign.

lots of cuddling and snuggles and chicken noodle soup today.
happy monday to you!

I feel good about that.

i need some spring here.
it was beautiful today, but freezing.
spring feels really far away...

glad you are safe.
so so sad.
everything in my home and life seems to be breaking down lately...but it is nothing NOTHING in comparison to the great loss some families have had...
