one day at a time

my girl meg, over at this blog that i love, has posted pictures of her recent bathroom redo. she lives in this beautiful old house in the midwest and so her home is a mix of the traditional old and unexpected new. she is super crafty and wonderfully witty and did i mention she has like five kids! seriously. reading her blog over the last year or so has made me a true blog stalker!

i am L-O-V-I-N-G the mix of the shiny subway tile, crusty, chippy paint, the sparkly chandelier and of course the murky old mecury glass.

most of all, i love that this doesn't look like something you would see in every new construction home. it's electic and lovely. and that's just like meg by the way.
