turkey day

just because everyone says my house is never a mess, take a look at what my wednesday looked like with all three kids at home.

on tuesday i went to josh's school so i could help the class make these turkey apples:

on turkey day, uncle jay came over and we ate like piggies.

then we laughed at each other trying to do the spoon trick. josh was a pro.

we ate way too much of this: pumpkin pecan goodness.

and the kids entertained me long enough to wear these silly hats.

i think uncle jay is taking over poppy's role as KID MAGNET! here he is entertaining the whole neighborhood by blowing huge bubbles.

the afternoon sun kept us nice and warm! too bad it's freezing out there now.

i'm up to my eye balls in christmas bins and boxes now. the christmas music has been playing much of the day, we watched the santa clause 2 and football this afternoon, and the tree is up and shining.

i wish i had another weekend off so i could continue working and crafting. i am such a homebody. there's no place on earth i'd rather be.

i hope all of you had a wonderful thanksgiving. i know we sure did.
