john's 36th.

Let me just say, for the record, that I hate this time change.
It is crazy ridiculous, in my humble opinion, and whoever thinks it is still a worthwhile thing certainly does not have small children! Umph.
Now, movin’ on.

Today was John’s birthday.

Chinese food, cookie cake and pumpkin pie were in order.
So were a few funny homemade cards and thoughtfully-chosen gifts.

Just something little.
Meaningful and full of love, but simple.

The younger kids were very happy to celebrate.

The older kid was in a bit of a mood (putting it mildly) so he isn’t in many pictures.

But he did have a tooth extracted today so let’s just chalk it up to a long day for everyone.

And it was dark at 5 o’clock.
Super- can’t see your hand in front of your face- super dark.

I love ya john. Big time.
But I’m so tired and full of bad-for-ya food that I’m having a hard time writing about it.

But you know, don’t you?
You know how much you are loved and adored.
And I might love you EVEN MORE if you could learn the words to a couple ray la montagne songs for me...

Good night, my hubby.
I hope you have a great 36th year.

love your little girl's haircut!
And the best part is the "no drugs" part on the birthday card-haha!
