told ya.

whenever i visit my good friend, mrs. doris, my heart just skips a beat.
her home is gorgeous.
her family is beautiful.
and she is nothing short of amazing.

i knew it twelve years ago when we first met. we are true kindred spirits.

today my mom and i went to her christmas open house.
(mrs. doris is proprietor of her own shop called "the handmaiden".)
i only snapped a few pictures of her home because, well, quite frankly, i was too busy enjoying everything!
