we had an early start, a long wait, and a quick and successful procedure!
fingers crossed that this helps ben in the long run and no more ear infections!
waiting to talk to the doctor, a little scared but looking handsome as ever in his little gown.
watching little einsteins to pass the time.
thank goodness for technology!
(we also brought our ipad which was a lifesaver! you can only sing itsy bitsy spider so many times!)
waiting patiently for my baby.
the entire procedure took about ten minutes.
as soon as i sat down, they called us back to get him!
we were sent home with a surgie bear and some apple juice.
ben actually wanted nothing to do with the bear but they gave it to us anyway.
don't worry, he's been added to anna's massive stuffed animal collection so he's just fine.
a little nap and some snuggles, and ben was HUNGRY!
he couldn't eat or drink anything before the procedure so he went hog wild.
two plates of spaghetti, a pop tart, a few bites of mommy's lunch and two cups of juice.
even then, i think he would have ate more if i would have let him!

So glad he's doing well. The wait before the surgery is longer and more tiresome than the actual surgery. Here's to praying our babies' ears do well with their tubes. Keep Smiling:)
